CHIRO-BINGO

Chiro-Bingo is one of many fun teaching tools to ensure patient retention through education and promote new patient referrals.
Some doctors will dedicate and display an entire wall or two in the waiting room with Chiro-Bingo cards and prizes available for those who want to participate.
Patients will get caught up in the fever of following the progression of other patients. To maintain anonymity the patient can use a number or pen-name on the Chiro-Bingo card. Bright colored stick dots are used on the bingo cards for each square completed. A “black-out” is when the card is complete with stick dots, and all squares have been accomplished. Based on the enclosed sample, a “blackout” results in three new patient referrals.
I have seen “black-out” gifts as extravagant as weekend use of a hummer, corvette or timeshare to beauty make-overs, glamour shots and indoor paint wars.
The following is a sample Chiro-Bingo card with rules. Feel free to change any of the bingo squares, gifts, or rules to suite you clinic protocols.
Teaching and learning can/should be an enjoyable process. Have fun!
